Test & Measurement Pressure Sensor
Pressure transducer
Pressure sensor is a very common sensor, widely used in various industrial automatic control, intelligent equipment, production control, safety protection, medical, railway traffic, shipping, aerospace and other fields.Generally, the measurement of pressure mainly includes absolute pressure, gauge pressure and differential pressure.Absolute pressure is the pressure relative to vacuum, gauge pressure is the pressure measured at atmospheric pressure, and differential pressure is the pressure difference relative to a particular pressure. The common measuring principles are piezoelectric effect and piezoresistor effect, which are respectively used to convert the pressure into the change of electric quantity and resistance of the sensitive thin film, and connect the thin film to the wheatstone electric bridge. When the pressure action on the elastic element causes the deformation of the thin film, the wheatstone electric bridge will have an electric quantity output. Then by determining the relationship between the pressure and the power output, the pressure can be obtained.
Honeywell in the production of various applied in test and measurement of absolute pressure, differential pressure, watch pressure and pressure sensors, all kinds of test and measurement applications of pressure sensor at the beginning of the design and production, is in order to meet the world's most poor conditions of the most demanding of test and measurement, meet the demand from one of the most common industrial process, the requirement of pressure sensor to dangerous places.Honeywell specializes in pressure sensors of high pressure, high temperature, and flush film types, both conventional and small and micro pressure sensors that meet the requirements of small space tolerance.
High pressure pressure transducer
Honeywell is one of the few manufacturers to produce pressure sensors capable of measuring up to 175,000 psi with high accuracy and reliable performance.Foil based strain gauge technology enables our pressure sensors to withstand pressures sufficient to damage other silicon based or micro mechanical pressure sensors. The stainless steel transmitter can work in a wide temperature range from -54 ° c to 121 ° c [-65°F to 250°F].While the temperature is only 0.0005% under the influence of range and zero point, the accuracy of full range can reach 0.5%.The potential applications of rugged, reliable high pressure pressure sensors include: oilfield gas well transection, isostatic pressure monitoring, mechanical mechanics, aseptic food processing and other test and measurement applications.
Flush film pressure sensor
For high frequency pressure measurement or for applications with strict space limitations, honeywell offers micro flush film pressure sensors with measuring ranges from 0PSIG to 15000PSIG.Using stainless steel design, a thin membrane is designed from a complete piece of stainless steel to make the sensor stronger. These sensors can be used in corrosive liquid environments, and the flush film design makes the sensor ideal for use in spray environments, or applications where sealants, paints, coatings, or other solidifying materials block traditional pressure interfaces.Potential applications include aerospace hydraulics, flowmeters, downhole drilling and logging tools, and test and measurement applications for automatic measurement and distribution control of high viscosity materials such as automotive sealants, gaskets, and automatic paint systems.
