Visiting Honeywell Nanjing Factory

In the summer of 2019, Banning and his party visited the Honeywell Sensing and Control Nanjing plant. The Honeywell Nanjing facility is the only production center for sensors in the Sensing and Productivity Solutions Group in China. Founded in March 2007, it has nearly 600 employees. It covers an area of 6,000 square meters of office and R&D center, with a production plant of 22,000 square meters.

The factory is one of the first certified silver-plated factories in the group, with TS16949 and ISO9001 certification, and fully adopts SAP system and HOS Honeywell production operation system (Lean and 6sigma combination).

The products produced at the Nanjing plant cover a full range of sensors and are supplied directly to the world, with annual sales reaching more than 100MUSD.

The design and development adopts the standard NPI development mode, with a variety of test and measurement equipment and advanced software systems. The production line is clean and bright, with one piece flow process and a special focus on safe production and standardization.
